Pick a target size; we squeeze your scanned PDF to fit.
Pages are turned into images, so text will not be selectable. That is fine for scanned marksheets and certificates.

Scanned PDFs work best
PDF chuno — file kahin upload nahi hoti.
Files never leave your device. Your files are processed right here in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to any server.
How to use
- Pick the target size your form allows: 100, 200, 300, 500 KB or 1 MB, or Custom.
- Choose the PDF (a scanned marksheet, certificate or ID proof).
- NeoKit renders each page, shares out the byte budget, and finds the best quality that fits. A progress bar shows each page.
- Download the smaller PDF. If it is still too big, try “Black & white” or a lower sharpness.
What sizes do forms usually ask for?
Most Indian application portals cap document uploads somewhere between 100 KB and 1 MB, for example caste or income certificates, marksheets, and Aadhaar or other ID proofs. Always check your own notification. If a portal asks for a single page, use Split PDF to extract it first, which also cuts the size.
Frequently asked questions
Will the text still be selectable?
No. To reach an exact size, each page becomes an image. That is perfect for scanned documents, which are already images, but not for PDFs you need to copy text from.
How small can a PDF get?
A one-page scanned A4 document stays readable at about 60–100 KB in black and white. Each extra page needs roughly another 40–80 KB for readable text.
Is my marksheet uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is opened, rendered and rebuilt inside your browser. It never leaves your device.
Can it open password-protected PDFs?
No. Remove the password first: open the PDF, choose Print, and save it as a new PDF.
